Who We Are

The Coalition for Hawaii’s Energy Future is an Oahu-based network of energy experts, businesses, nonprofits, community leaders, and affordability advocates working together to promote practical and actionable solutions for Oahu’s energy future. Our mission is to educate and engage with the community on the benefits of a balanced and diversified energy transition.

Our Priorities

We support strategies that move Hawaii away from oil and toward a more resilient energy system by prioritizing:

  • Lower electricity costs for residents and businesses

  • Improved grid reliability and fewer outages

  • Lower carbon emissions

  • More energy options and fuel flexibility

  • Private investment in modern energy infrastructure

These priorities guide our work, partnerships, and public engagement.
